How to Use the Nutrition Label Scanner

Quick Answer: You can scan a product's nutrition label using the Autofill camera feature (available with Lose It! Premium) whenever you create a new custom food or edit the nutritional details of an existing item.

Finding the Label Scanner (Autofill) Feature

Starting in app version 16.6.601, the nutrition label scanner was integrated into the food creation and editing workflows. This makes it easier to capture accurate nutritional info directly from packaging while customizing your log.

Note: The nutrition label scanner is a Lose It! Premium feature. Make sure you have an active Premium membership to access the Autofill camera tool.

Tip: If the camera scanner isn't reading a label clearly, make sure you are in a well-lit area and hold your camera steady over the nutrition facts panel.
