Quick Answer: A Calorie Schedule allows you to distribute your weekly calorie budget flexibly across different days of the week, giving you higher-calorie days while keeping your 7-day average on track for your goals.
How Calorie Schedules Work
Compared to a standard daily budget where you aim for the exact same number of calories every day, a Calorie Schedule adjusts your daily targets throughout the week. This allows you to plan for higher-calorie days (like weekends or special events) while balancing them out with lower-calorie days.
- Standard Budgets: Reallocates your weekly calories across your preferred high and low days.
- Custom Budgets: Works seamlessly alongside custom calorie goals, distributing your total weekly allotment so your 7-day average still aligns with your custom plan.
