What Are Custom Exercises?
Custom exercises let you add an exercise entry when you can't find a matching option in the Lose It! database. When logging your activities, you can include details such as the exercise name, duration, and calories burned.
Creating a Custom Exercise
To create a Custom Exercise:
Lose It! App
- Open the Lose It! app
- Tap Profile (top right)
- Scroll down to Exercises
- Tap Custom Exercises
- Tap the + icon (iOS) or New (Android)
- Enter the details of your exercise
- Tap Add (iOS) or Save (Android)
Lose It! Website
- Go to my.loseit.com from a web browser
- Enter your email and password, or Sign in with Apple
- Navigate to the sidebar menu and click Go To Lose It!
- Click Settings (gear icon)
- Under Manage, click Custom Exercises
- Click New
- Enter the details of your exercise
- Click Add Exercise
Editing a Custom Exercise
You can make updates to a Custom Exercise by:
Lose It! App
- Open the Lose It! app
- Tap Profile (top right)
- Scroll down to Exercises
- Tap Custom Exercises
- Find and tap on the exercise you want to edit
- Make desired changes
- Tap Save
Lose It! Website
- Go to my.loseit.com from a web browser
- Enter your email and password, or Sign in with Apple
- Navigate to the sidebar menu and click Go To Lose It!
- Click Settings (gear icon)
- Under Manage, click Custom Exercises
- Click on the exercise you want to edit
- Make desired changes
- Click Update
Deleting a Custom Exercise
You can delete a Custom Exercise in the Lose It! app or on loseit.com.
Lose It! App
- Open the Lose It! app
- Tap Profile (top right)
- Scroll down to Exercises
- Tap Custom Exercises
- Find the exercise you want to remove
iOS
- Tap the red minus sign to the left of the exercise
- Tap Delete
- Tap Delete Item to confirm
Android
- Tap the checkbox next to the exercise you want to remove
- Tap the trash can icon (top right)
- Tap Delete to confirm
Lose It! Website
- Go to my.loseit.com from a web browser
- Enter your email and password, or Sign in with Apple
- Navigate to the sidebar menu and click Go To Lose It!
- Click Settings (gear icon)
- Under Manage, click Custom Exercise
- Click the checkbox next to the exercise you want to remove
- Click Delete
- Click Delete again to Confirm
