How Data Syncing Works

For your Lose It! data to sync across multiple devices, all of your devices must be logged into the same Lose It! account on loseit.com. Your data must first exist on loseit.com before it can sync to other devices, and the Lose It! app on each device must be connected to your account.

If one device is disconnected, that device will not receive updates from your other devices. If your device is disconnected and you delete the Lose It! app, you are at risk of losing your information.

Reconnecting Your Device

If your devices are not syncing, try reconnecting the app to your Lose It! account.

Before you begin:

Then, to disconnect and reconnect:

  • Open the Lose It! app
  • Tap Profile (top right corner)
  • Scroll down to the Manage section
  • Tap Lose It! Account
  • Select Disconnect Device
  • Tap Lose It! Account again
  • Select I Already Have An Account
  • Log back into your existing account

Choosing Which Data to Keep

After logging back in, you may be prompted to choose which data to use:

  • Data on your device → This option will overwrite the data on loseit.com with what is currently stored on your device.
  • Data from loseit.com → This option will overwrite your device with the data saved online.

If you are not prompted, it means your app and online data already match.

Further Troubleshooting

If your devices still don’t sync after following these steps, open a support ticket with Customer Care. Include a description of the issue and attach a screenshot of the connection status from the device(s) that are not syncing.

To get to your your Connection Status:

  • Open the Lose It! app
  • Tap Profile (top right corner)
  • Scroll down to Manage

  • Tap Connection Status
