This article will explain how to use a master passcode to reset your forgotten Lose It! app passcode lock.
Reset Using a Master Passcode
Sign in to loseit.com on a computer and send a Master Passcode to the email address associated with your account. Here's how:
Lose It! Website
- Go to my.loseit.com from a web browser
- Enter your email and password, or Sign in with Apple
- Navigate to the sidebar menu and click Go To Lose It!
- Click the Settings gear icon to the right of Messages
- Under My Settings, select Account Information
- Under Passcode Lock, click Send Master Passcode
A master passcode will be sent to your email on file, which you can then use to unlock your device.
Once you have unlocked Lose It! on this device, remove or reset your passcode by:
Lose It! App
- Open Lose It!
- Tap your Profile photo (top right)
- Scroll down to the Manage section and tap Passcode Lock
