Unresponsive Dashboard Weight Tracking

Quick Answer: If tapping the Weight card on your Android Dashboard isn't opening your graph or entry history, you can easily access your full timeline by tapping Goals on the bottom navigation bar and selecting Weight Goal.

Understanding the Android Weight Card Bug

Following a recent Android app update, a navigation link issue on the main Dashboard screen prevents tapping the Weight card from opening your interactive weight graph and entry history.

Here is what is happening and what you should know:

  • What Happens: Tapping the Weight card directly on your Dashboard produces no response.
  • Your Data is Safe: This is a display routing bug within the Dashboard UI. None of your historical weight entries, logs, or goal settings have been lost or corrupted.
  • Standard Fixes Won't Work: Because this is a code-level routing error introduced in the latest update, performing standard troubleshooting steps, such as clearing app cache/data, restarting your phone, or reinstalling Lose It!, will not restore Dashboard navigation.

Our engineering team is actively working on a patch to restore full Dashboard card functionality in an upcoming app release.

Accessing Your Weight Graph via the Goals Tab

While our engineering team prepares the bug fix, you can access, view, and edit your complete weight history using this alternative route:

  1. Open the Lose It! app on your Android device.
  2. Tap Goals on the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Select Weight Goal to open your full interactive weight graph and timeline.

Tip: Don't worry about re-entering past data, all your historical weight logs remain securely stored in your account and will display seamlessly on the Goals tab.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we resolve this for you!
